To become a Wiitrans translator, you must be:
1. An outstanding translator: Excellent language skills and equipped with strong industry experience/knowledge.
2. Highly responsible: Translators must be able to cooperate fully and furnish the necessary assistance in the event of client queries.
In addition, translators would like to work with Wiitrans must first pass our skill test. Please click the “Join Us” button at the bottom of this page to register and take a test, or you can send your CV in English to services@wiitrans.com and await our resources team to contact you.
After you have passed the Wiitrans language skill test, you will be able to start accepting translation or editing jobs that correspond with your assigned translator level. Qualified Wiitrans translators may choose from the jobs available; the higher the translator level, the more jobs that will be made available to him/her.
Qualified Wiitrans translators can choose from one of two options: online translation or offline translation.
Online translation: Wiitrans will provide you with a translation memory, which contains terminology that may be useful to you. Documents are pre-processed so that the appropriate terminology can be suggested to the translator in the course of translation. Wiitrans online translation tool (WiiCAT) helps translators achieve more accurate and consistent target texts. Higher translation quality makes for happy clients and translators with stronger professional reputations.
Offline translation: For translators who prefer to use CAT tools such as SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ and Wordfast, they can choose to download the source text for offline translation. This function ensures that translators can work efficiently without having to change their existing workflow.
We are on the lookout for experienced (simultaneous, consecutive, and escort) interpreters. If you are proficient in a foreign language (any language whatsoever), and have a breadth of project experience in a particular sector, we would like to hear from you.
By registering with Wiitrans system as an interpreter account and fill out all necessary details, our system will automatically store the information for the future reference and it will be very handy for our resource coordinator to get in touch with you instantly.
